IPS Contrast Spray is used to achieve optimum optical images for CAD/CAM restorations. The IPS Contrast Spray balances out the different optical properties of the natural tooth (dentin and enamel) and thus permits optimum recordings using the intraoral camera (e.g. of the CEREC system from Sirona). With the optimized intraoral nozzle, an optimum covering layer with a detailed representation of the edges is achieved easily and efficiently with one short spray burst. IPS Contrast Spray Chairside is available in two versions: blue-lemon and crème-lemon
Because of new hygiene guidelines (e.g. in Germany, among others), the new IPS Contrast Spray comes in a hygiene pack with 20 individually packaged nozzles and 2 spray heads. The blue IPS Contrast Spray was coordinated with the colour of the scannable bite registration material Virtual CADbite.
