Hygiene when handling shade guides
After every use of a shade guide at a patient, it is recommended to disinfect and clean the shade guide. Various spray and wipe disinfectants are available for this purpose.
We recommend cleaning with disinfecting solutions (e.g. FD333, FD350 or FD322 from Dürr). They all ensure sufficient disinfection. The above disinfecting solutions neither attack the surfaces nor do they affect the imprint of the IV shade guides. Basically, the instructions of
the manufacturer have to be followed for the application. Moreover, it has to be kept in mind that the surfaces of the shade guides are neither monomer- nor UV-resistant. Please do not
expose them to direct sunlight.
