The Benefits are Clear Sensation Active Ceramic Self-Ligating Brackets benefit both patient and practice by providing uncompromised aesthetics and comfort for your patients with faster treatment times for your practice. Sensational results from start to finish. The ceramic material provides strength and durability as well as a translucent appearance that is unmatched by any other bracket system. The rhodium coating on the stainless steel clip increases the clip’s strength for extraordinary durability. A strong mechanical bond is created on the bracket base through the use of alumina spheres. Debonding is predictable and easy. The unique guide rail ensures stable and consistent force during clip opening and closing making archwire changes a breeze. With less archwire changes, shorter office visits, and reduced chairtime, the benefits are clear.

Simple Opening
1.
To open the Sensation Active Ceramic Self-Ligating Bracket spring clip, place the upper hook of the Sensation SLB Opening Instrument, on the open clip slot directly beneath the bracket interface.
2.
Gently push in the occlusal direction to disengage the bracket clip.
3.
Place the lower hook of the instrument directly in the facial opening of the clip to engage the small extension of the spring clip.
4.
Ensure the upper hook portion of the instrument extends above the bracket interface (between the tie wings), gently pull in the occlusal direction. The spring clip will pop open. The Sensation SLB Opening Instrument is self-limiting by design to prevent accidental clip removal.
Sensation SLB Opening Instrument OT-6920
To avoid accidental clip removal or distortion of the clip, the Sensation SLB Opening Instrument is required for use. Clip stability may be compromised if other instruments are used.
Simple Closing
Predictable Debonding
Remove archwires. Remove flash from around the brackets with a high speed debonding bur.
Instruct patient to bite down onto a cotton roll in the area brackets are being removed. Grasp the bracket with a straight or angled debonding plier at the bracket-adhesive interface. The bracket can be held along the occlusal-gingival or the mesial-distal edge. Gently squeeze the plier and gradually increase pressure until the bracket comes free from the tooth. Do not twist or pull the bracket.
The bracket is designed to release at the bracket/adhesive interface and will leave a layer of adhesive on the enamel for safety. This means that most of the adhesive will remain on the tooth after debonding.
Remove remaining adhesive with a high speed debonding bur or an adhesive removing plier. After bulk adhesive is removed follow up with a high or low speed enamel polishing bur.
